true love at last
With wings full of angel's grace,
I flew beyond the golden gates to shed the love of heaven,
And join the humans down below ,
To bask in the presence of my pagan lover,
To feel her soft embrace,
To remember what true love is,
I fought the will of my creator,
Breaking every rule that had been set before me,
I went against society's laws and waited until the final time in which Mayans predicted was the end,
And she and I were finally married,
Beneath entwined willow trees,
In spring's sweet embrace.
The Piano
She gives it all she does posess
The worn instrument\'s sound is dim
How to create beauty, she cannot assess
She plays the keys upon a whim
A tear streams down her cheek
So warm against her skin
This one girl - soft-spoken and meek
Must find the soul within
Desperately with sadness she plays
Her beautiful, mournful tune
This which her heart portrays
But her song must die too soon
Strong is the power of her art
That lone girl, who was so sad
Created a song from her heart
And gave it all she had
